DO NOT MAKE ANY GRAVEN IMAGES

Making graven images is prohibited by the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are incorporated into the New Covenant where it is considered idolatry. Remember all first Christians were Jews with a few exceptions and all the Jews knew the Ten Commandments by heart.

The Second Commandment was removed by the Catholic Institution. Ex 20:4. Some other churches followed. The tenth commandment is: you shall not covet was split to two to make a total of ten.

Some Christian organizations trespass this command. The Institution is not and never will be over God’s Constitution - the Word of God. The Church cannot change His Word.

The result is that man released a curse to 3-4 generations. Then people are surprised that many innocent children and adult people are sick. Then many blame God why He allows these horrible things.

Here is the scripture:

Exodus 20:4 - You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5 - You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me.

Idolatry was a very big problem in the old time and now is present in many churches. It includes a picture of Jesus on the cross. Many call it the crucifix.

I believe that we should honor Jesus’ work for us by taking upon Himself our sin and He became sin. He took our diseases, pain, and poverty on Himself (curse). But we keep it in our hearts and minds, but let He be removed from the cross and be buried and risen while now He is sitting on the throne on the right side of Father.

There are other scriptures to understand idolatry:

Psalm 115:4-8 - Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not: They have ears, but they hear not: noses have they, but they smell not: They have hands, but they handle not: feet have they, but they walk not: neither speak they through their throat. They that make them are like unto them; so is every one that trust in them.

New Testament clearly says:

Revelation 21:8 - But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers (sexually immoral), and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

It means they do not enter the kingdom of God.

This is a very serious matter. Please repent and leave idolatry. Be sure you are new creation - born again in your heart.
