WHAT HAPPENED AFTER JESUS DIED?
76It is hard for me to understand why many focus only on the flesh or the physical death of Jesus. Perhaps the reason is they do not know better.
There are other parts of man; the spirit and the soul. They are the invisible parts of a person. Jesus was the same as other man except sin. Jesus died and was separated from His body.
Jesus was three days in the grave physically. Where His spirit and soul were for three days? Why three days? Where did He go? Could He have died and been resurrected in three hours? No matter what, still we need faith to believe.
We understand when man dies he goes to one place or another (either to heaven or to hell). Born of God people go to heaven and sinners will go to hell.
Did we read that Jesus never sinned but became sin for us? He took, absorbed on Himself our sin. God the Father turned away His face on the cross and Jesus did not call Him “Father” any more but instead said “God, God, why did you forsake me?”
It is necessary to mention the Lord’s teaching about Lazarus and the rich man. The Bible said that a certain man… The certain man is not only a parable, but also a real man, who actually existed. The Lord, however, never made up any parable without substance. The parable serves the purpose of explaining the invisible or spiritual world with visible existing things so it is understandable.
Remember the parable of the sower. The Lord took what everyone could see in this life with their physical eyes. He called the Word of God the bread or water, something that we use every day. Jesus was not bread consistent of flour, water and salt. He compared spiritual parts with physical means. But carnal people insist on natural matters rather than spiritual. Talking about Lazarus, in our case was presented as certain man Jesus had seen what other could not see, since they did not go and experience after Lazarus’s condition (of being dead). Jesus was seen those things by prophetic utterance, under operation of the Abrahamic Covenant.
There was certain man whose name was Lazarus. And there was rich man without the name. Both died. Lazarus went to place where Abraham was. It was the paradise. Lord called it Abraham’s bosom.
Old Testament saints did not go to heaven yet, since they were not born again. The new birth was not available yet, since it was conditional upon the resurrection of Jesus.
I see three biblical paradises: 1. Garden of Eden. 2. Under ground temporary holding place of Old Testament saints. 3. Paradise in the third heaven.
No one without exception went to a heavenly Paradise, only after people who died after the new birth was available after the Lord’s resurrection.
The Lord Jesus could say the Lazarus died and went to heaven if that applies.
Paul informed us that Jesus, before He ascended; He first descended and led the captivity captive. The words “captivity captive,” had not yet freed people eligible to go to a heavenly paradise. The paradise in third heaven is heaven itself.
Without any exception all must be born again, born of the spirit through the Word and faith. Those spirits not born again, never can enter into any of God’s kingdom. They cannot even see it according to Jesus (John 3).
The rich man tormented saw Lazarus and spoke to him. Please read teaching from the scripture: Luke 16:19-31. We believe that for a rich man and Lazarus in the bosom of Abraham was visible to them. We do not have biblical evidence I am aware of that people in hell cannot see heaven for one purpose or another.
I wonder. The reason is I know an apostolic creed, which apostles put together which was normal practice in their time; even it was not included to the scripture. But it is summary of New Covenant.
We know that Jesus did not go to heaven yet. He went there after resurrection. First He went to hell.
Why? We must die physically and we did die spiritually. Both have to be covered by the power of the redemption. He had to justify all three area of our being.
Jesus had to pay physically, in the soul realm, and spiritually, to satisfy universal justice.
I have seen both graves claiming to be the tombs where Jesus was placed. Both are on the surface level of the earth. One in the Garden tomb is even higher, 3-4 feet above the earth.
Many are looking to the burial traditions of Europeans or Americans. Jesus was not buried 6 feet under.
When is says the lowest part of the earth this means the lower part of the earth and nothing else. It is the absolute lowest place as it could be. However Jesus’s body was buried above the earth.
Everybody now, who dies, goes either to heaven or hell.
The Bible says that Jesus went to lower part of earth. Jonah was also down in the belly of monster below the sea surface. People make dissertation papers about this matter. But it is not difficult to understand and they are focusing on letters, which can kill.
We often used to believe all kind of doctrines and doubting even the apostolic Creed. I think apostles knew more about Jesus being with Him than we do.
I have discussed this matter with friends and pastors. They know it and still don’t believe it.
An apostolic Creed said clearly that Jesus went to hell. Apostle Paul said so too in
Ephesians 4:8-9: “Wherefore He said, when He ascended up on high, He led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.” Now that He ascended, was it but that He also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
I would like to know which of today’s theologians reversed it.
After Jesus led captivity captives He gave to men the gifts. It appeared to me that they received the same gifts of the Spirit of which we are in need. Besides they received also a reward.
The gifts of the Spirit are wisdom, the word of knowledge and more. There is a total of nine, where they needed them or not as we needing them for victory today. It is joy to have them. Lord is not partial and not respecter of persons.
It is not the Old Covenant saints’ fault they were born before Jesus’ resurrection.
Man who was crucified with Jesus was justified. Jesus did not say you would be with me in heaven, but in paradise. He was also with one Old Testament fresh believer, who could not go to heaven yet. He went to an underground paradise, still captive waiting for the resurrection and the message. Jesus went after resurrection there and presented Himself as a Lord and Savior, the Messiah.

I think that thief on the cross has much to teach us about heaven and hell and baptism, thanks for the great hub.
Hi Vladimir...as always though provoking and a blessing to read...love the way you serve the Lord through your writing...
Blessings
This was awesome an beautiful.
Very interesting read and timely as Easter is drawing near. Best Wishes.
Good hub. Jesus indeed went to hell to free the ones who were under His protection by faith. Abraham was saved by faith. His faith is what God counted for righteousness. There is a verse which states that Jesus even though He had to go to Hell for us, He knew no corruption and would not. He simply took the keys of death and hell for us who believe but we must be born again and a lot of people even Christians do not understand that fraze at all because they simply are not born again, of the Spirit who gives us life after we Accept Jesus. It is all done by the power of the Holy Ghost, to be born again into Salvation by our faith in Jesus. Therefore we act on that faith in Jesus or our faith is dead.
Jesus was dead 3 days B4 God raised Him from the dead
Nice hub; good words; great Spirit. . .
YOU WROTE:
We know that Jesus did not go to heaven yet. He went there after resurrection. First He went to hell.
ANSWER: I do not think that Jesus went to hell at all.
We must remember that Jesus was not born of flesh, but of the Holy Spirit (Mt 1:20). He was fully God spiritually and fully man physically.
He died for us physically feeling all the pain and anguish of a human being. As the Spirit of God, Jesus cannot go to hell because He was sinless. He cannot be punished spiritually. His task on earth was accomplished when He died on the cross.
Acts 2:31
He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Psalm 16:10
For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.
Jesus completed His task on earth by dying for us physically. He was physically dead. As God's manifestation on earth, He did not die spiritually. A spirit cannot die.
I also had the opportunity to visit His grave and place of crucifixion in Israel for which I thank God.
Peace!
Great hub, I am creating an Easter hub that I want to link this one to. God Bless you.
Hi Vla, It is clear the Holy Spirit moves in you. Your words flow like the fresh, living, running water. This knowledge is awesome. I love how you explained it. The Holy Spirit is awesome! Amen Brother. I am grateful our paths have crossed. I have learned a great deal from you. I am eternally grateful. Mostly I have seen the love you sow to others. We will know them by thier fruits. Hugs
In 'His' name.
Interesting hub.
Good point on Paradise. It is the Resting Place, awaiting Christ's Return.
We are actually told very little about Yeshua. To know more about His personal life would detract from the Message. A study of the typical Jewish lifestyle of the time will Answer most questions on that. He was a Faithful Jew of His time.
I studied it, and I came up with the same conclusions.
Allelujah à Jésus
Vladimir This writing is absolutely beautiful The SPIRIT OF GOD clearly moved in you. You wrote and it is easy to follow and understand. I really enjoyed your teaching. I have more clarity on a couple of things because of it. Knowledge and understanding come by the Spirit in us. Very Good work. I know GOD smiles on you favor. I pray any come here. I believe they will be led. Hugs to you brother. Love you.
Good work again Vladimir, of course Mary K Baxter among others totally confirm what you are saying here and the scripture you have used, as the Lord took her to hell years ago and was shown the part of Hades that used to be Abraham's bosom.
When Christ died He went down to the paradise and it was brought to heaven where it is to this day according to the many who God allows to visit heaven, Jesse Duplantis amongst many others. Now of course all of Hades is overrun with hell and it apparently keeps enlarging itself. Shockingly according to Bob Jones and many others, when given a vision in the 80's, 98% of the world was going to hell, shocking I know. I hope to God that percentage has changed since.
Bro Vladimir Uhri
I read what you've stated ... and am much surprised ... not being a vastly read person ... how litle difference, there is ... in Facts, of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam ... for that matter, between other Religions, and these three Religions ...
This Community, Points Directly, to Divine Origins of Human Belief.
What I said is a personal observation ... I will not, for I avoid replying to fanatical comments, since fanatics are managing the affairs of Human Religions.
yes, inded Jesus went into hell defaet Hades, only Jesus could do this because of his divine spirit, mankind on his won will never be able to accomplish thiscos of the sinfull nature passed on to us from Adam fall in EDEN, God knew this and sent his Son to do this on our behalf so that we to can be in paradise. Its is not our battle anymore coz it was done for us. All we have to do is accept this truth and be saves.
nothing good happened is the answer.
As Christ did not Go to Heaven at the moment of Death, neither shall we. Doesnt it seem just a bit off, full well knowing that each and every one of us shall be resurrected. This is Truth. So why shall we Go to Heaven, simply to be put back into our newly made Human bodies to be resurrected? What sense does that make? It makes None. We shall be Changed into Spirit being at the time of our resurrection, Christ says so. Christs followers state that NO man(dead or alive ha ascended unto heaven, yet. Also, as Jonah was in the belly of the fish Three days and Three nights, so shall the Son of Man be in the Heart of the Earth. Now, try and fit That time period into a Friday(late)burial and an early Sunday Morning Resurrection. It Cant be done. When Christ was about to be killed, the Sabbath drew near. What we seem to forget is that there were TWO Sabbaths That week. Passover(a High Sabbath)took place That Wednesday. Christ's body had to be taken down before THAT Sabbath, Not Saturday. Christ died on Wednesday of that week. Can One of us even Think of a more Fitting day? This is in your Bible if you choose to read it. Mans word is worth nothing. Gods is, that is all I use.
ACCORDING THE SCRIPTURES!
His life & death were according to the Scriptures!
Luke 24:13-53!
THE FIRST DAY OF THE WEEK WAS THE DAY AFTER SABBATH -SUNDAY
Matthew 28:1 Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.
Mark 16:1 And when the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. 2 And very early on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen.
Luke 24:1 But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they came to the tomb, bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb
John 20:1 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came early to the tomb, while it *was still dark, and saw the stone already taken away from the tomb.

Great write up.
Not to self promote, but to let others know and learn, I wrote a couple of hubs on Christ, his death, his resurrection, life after death, and christ teaching to those who were dead awaiting resurrection, etc.
You have a great understanding this and it is pretty close to what my understanding is.
Keep on hubbing!
